Japanese drone legends Boris are currently touring Canada and the U.S. in support of their recent release, Smile. Unlike a lot of overseas bands who only frequent the major cities when coming to our shores, Boris is nice enough to schedule some stops in often overlooked places like Buffalo, Danbury, and a bunch of towns in Iowa. It seems a bit odd that they are opening for Nine Inch Nails on the first leg of the tour, since in the past I’ve always seen Boris in church basements and dive bars, but after November 29th they’ll be playing smaller venues with lesser-known bands like Clouds, which should be a much better time than going to see them in some silly arena.
