Readers Poll: What bands would you like to see covered?

With a young and growing blog such as Rapid Transit Radio, we are constantly trying new things out.  While weekly features and writers may change from time to time, one thing that will always remain the same is our dedication to cover new, up and coming, and talented bands.  As I’m sitting here working on my next post, I wondered to myself what the readers of Rapid Transit Radio would like to see covered on the blog.

What bands/aspects of music would you like to see covered on Rapid Transit Radio?

I personally would enjoy more coverage on smaller bands, bands people usually don’t hear about unless they frequent basement shows. While I’ve enjoyed your coverage of bands like Pelican and Mogwai, I feel like they’re not hurting for publicity.

That being said, I’m really excited about the way this blog is taking shape and I hope you stick with it! Thanks for all the hard work you’ve put into it!

Thanks for the suggestions Stephen. We are trying to keep a focus on smaller, lesser known bands, but still feel that occasional coverage of slightly bigger bands such as Pelican and Mogwai is going to help the blog bring in new readers and hopefully turn them onto the smaller bands we write about.

I feel like an interview/podcast with Scheisse Krieg would be outstanding. They’re interesting and hilarious dudes.

I don’t see there being a Rapid Transit Radio podcast anytime soon, but maybe we can talk to them if their 7″ ever comes out :)

Please do something on the Krieg! One of my favorite modern hardcore bands!!!
